Frequently Asked Questions

  • In the Parts Library, head over to “Remixing”.

  • No. Here’s why… The reality is that you only need a couple of parts to build your Multiboard and it’s VERY hard to find what you're looking for in a big folder with 700+ parts.

Even Jonathan himself (the guy who designed Multiboard) only uses the Parts Library to find parts.

Furthermore, parts are constantly being updated, and if you download everything you won’t receive these updates.

And if you’re worried that we’re just going to fall off the edge of the Earth, we’re not going anywhere.

  • Multiboard has been specifically designed to print with 0.2 mm layer height, using a 0.4 mm nozzle.

Community members are testing different configurations, I would encourage you to search in #mb-slicer-settings in the Discord.

  • For the majority of Multiboard videos, I’ve used a pretty standard Matte PLA. I’ve found Matte PLA to be stronger than regular PLA and I’d imagine PLA Plus to be stronger still, but keep in mind pricing.

  • The major things that are currently being developed and our future plans for Multiboard can be found at https://www.multiboard.io/roadmap

  • This means your printer is too good. Every single bolt is designed to have a 0.25 mm tolerance, so if you’re printing very accurately only a small part of the thread is actually engaged.

At this very moment, the quickest solution is for you to scale up your bolts a little bit, you’ll have to test what the best percentage is.

But within the next month, we’ll be adding lower-tolerance versions of all bolts.
