Change Log

Bins

  • New Bin heights: Bin heights are now based on 50 mm stacking, which makes them more compatible with the Multiboard tiles.

  • Thread orientation: The threads on Bins are symmetrical no matter the orientation, so they can be screwed onto a Base Plate in any orientation.

  • Internal Rims: Internal rims are now inward indented instead of outdented. There are also two additional internal rims for attaching future internal accessories. We’ve also removed rims from the corners to strengthen the Bins.

  • Lock Holes: Lock holes have increased in size, & we’ve added an internal segmented rim to the hole for future click-in accessories.

  • No Lock Hole: Bins with no lock holes have click-in holes on the bottom, along with Allen key removing slots.

  • Rim Lock: Bins have small holes on the corners that lets you lock Bin Extensions into position using a Rim Lock Peg that is removable.

  • Removed Minimal Lock Hole Bins: They weren’t very useful.

  • Other small dimensional changes have also been made for standardization purposes.

Bin Extensions

  • New heights: Bin extensions are now based on 50 mm stacking, just like Bins. They also come in all heights up to 3 cells.

  • Internal Rims: Same as Bins.

  • Tolerances: Bin extensions now come in 4 tolerances, making them suitable for different ranges of printers.

  • Universal extension: Universal Bin Extensions can be placed on MORE than one Bin. They can also be clicked onto Base Plates.

  • Rim Lock: Bin extensions have holes on the bottom corners called “Rim Lock Holes”, they allow you to tightly secure the Bin Extension into place using Rim Lock Pegs.

Base Plates

  • Thread orientation: Thread orientation is symmetrical so Bins can be screwed onto Base Plates in any orientation.

  • Connection Points: You can now connect Base Plates to Base Plates and Base Plates to Panels using strong or lite connection holes.

  • Internal Click Rim: Bin Extensions can be clicked onto Base Plates.

  • Base Plate Lid: The “Plate Lid Feett” allows you to place Base Plates on top of Bins like lids.

  • Base Plate Bottoms: Place at the bottom of Base Plates to cover up the holes.

Panels

  • Panel to Panel connectors have been redesigned to not fall out. They also come with two tolerances to work across many printers.

  • Internal Click Rims: Bin Extensions can be clicked onto Panels.

  • Panel Feet: When connecting a Panel to a Base Plate, the Panel will not be resting on the surface, so you will need Panel Feet to support the Panel.

Panel Lid Rim

  • Panel Lid Rims now have internal rims, and placing them on top of a bin will increase their height by 0.25 cells (12.5 mm)

  • Panel Lid Rims are “universal”, meaning they can be placed on more than one Bin.

Others Changes

  • More Lids: Drop-In Lids, Drop-In Tab Lids

  • Updated Bin Bottoms

  • Updated Binshelf

  • Updated Lock Hole cover
